Talisker distillery is located on the Isle of Skye, approximately 3 hours drive west of Inverness. The rural single track roads on Skye can make driving a little challenging for those not accustomed to it so we would always recommend setting off with plenty of time to spare. Public transport options are limited although there is a bus stop which is served by a local Skye bus route. The bus stop is approximately two minutes walk to the distillery. Accessible Toilets

Accessible toilets are available within our main Brand Home building. Our facilities include red cords and handrails. Unfortunately, we do not have accessible changing facilities.

Accessible Parking

We have five disabled parking spaces which are directly in front of our main entrance, the closest space is approximately 60 metres from the Brand Home building. There is a route without any steps or obstacles between these spaces and entering the building.

Accessible Areas

The Brand Home building is all on one level, this space includes our bar, retail area and our Made by the Sea and Cask Draw experiences. Our Distillery building which forms part of our Distillery Tour route is on multiple floors, the first floor is accessible via a lift, however our Upper Tun Room and some areas of the Still House are not accessible due to internal staircases in the older part of the building. Please do let us know if you have any specific requirements at the time of your tour booking and a member of staff will be in touch.
