A bottle of The Singleton whisky sits on a white marble table against a blue wall. On the table are two rocks glasses containing ice and whisky. Also on the table are bowls and dishes containing food, including slices of steak, a salad and sweetcorn.

Our History

Constructed in 1897, Glendullan was the seventh distillery to be built in the famous Scottish town of Dufftown. Its name comes from the Dullan Water river that flows through Dufftown. Crafted in the picture-perfect setting of the Scottish Speyside, this Single Malt Scotch Whisky has enjoyed great popularity from the outset. Perhaps the best example of this is that by 1902, this whisky had even found favour at the court of King Edward VII, thanks to the distillery’s private railway that transported the casks south. And today? The whisky sensation is now exported from Scotland around the whole world and excites novice whisky drinkers and imbibers alike.

The Distillery

Far beyond Scotland’s borders, The Singleton is famous for its smooth, rich flavour profile achieved through the care given at each and every step of the production process. To us, care means hand-picking our barley. Malting it ourselves. Fermenting slowly. Distilling slowly. Perfectly pairing European and American oak casks. Creating aroma harmony. And thus crafting a perfectly balanced whisky.

The stone walls of The Singleton distillery are seen between two green trees. The pagoda chimney of one building sits in front of a mountain range covered in trees.
